Lego Robotics STEM Camp

Fill in the Gap Lunches`

The Center served 256 lunches to low income families in the 67214 zip code and gave away 50 new backpacks to families in two weeks.


STEM Coding Camp

in a partnership with ICTLearn, we served 15 elementary aged children from 67214, an area with 43.63% below poverty level with a FREE one hour hands on superhero DNA strawberry DNA extracting activity, coding activity and superhero skyscraper building exercises.


Roller Skates

130 youth roller skates donated to The Academy of Excellence Skate Night.


Taking Action on Violence Community Meeting

Hosted community action on violence meeting at The Center with 150 in attendance including local politicians and community. Also hosted part 2 to Community meeting and District Community Breakfast.


Trunk or Treat

735 people from the community attended our first annual fall celebration.


Wins for Kansas

Academy of Excellence was the recipient $500 grant from DeVaughn James


Academy of Excellence

Partnered with local organizations to host Youth Saturday from 9-11 am on the first and third Saturday of the month. Average attendance: 15-20 elementary aged youth.
